Audi A6 2.8L ATQ 2000 C5
I have a clicking noise coming from the right side of the engine, I just changed my in/out Tie rods. The noise comes and goes, it goes like this click click click when driving straight or going thru a curve. Please see picture for more details. Does anyone had this issue before?

Have you checked the steering rack bolts for tightness? Two bolts are in the plenum area, one under battery tray, the other under the brake master cylinder. Those are 2 of the 3 bolts that are relatively easy to get to.
If the rack is loose, it can move around, and cause a click or clank sound, when steering wheel is moved back and forth in center position. The noise from loose bolts can be felt when put your hand on the rack (near the boot) and and have someone move the steering wheel back/forth. Sometimes, you can see rack moving visibly as well.
Search the forums here for more info.

Round up the usual suspects. I bet on the UCAs. Most likely the bjs in one or more UCA.

when the car is stopped; When I turn the steering wheel left half cycle I hear click clack noise. When I turn it right no noise. I’ll check the bolt under that battery. What is the UCAs?
