So this car lasting long, 217k on the car. I have an issue with the control unit. All windows and car unlock by itself. I will lock it, leave it for 5 minutes, and the car would unlock by itself.

I took the fuse out for Central locking unit to temprorally take care of the issue, Until I figure out what's going on.

I am searching the forum trying to find simillar issue.

Replaced the battery on the remote control. thinking its sending signal too late. no help.

Take the battery OUT of the remote control.
Lock the car with the key.
If it doesn't unlock, then put the battery back in the remote and if the car unlocks itself, the problem is the remote has a bad switch.

One øther possibility, although I don't know for sure, is the anti-fuel leak provision switch/sensor that senses a rollover...it could be possible that audi has set it up to automatically unlock the doors as well as shut øff the fuel pump when it senses a vehicle rollover.

I'd check the remote first. Then go vag-com.
