Hi All!

My problem is, that after a battery replacement, the radio doesn't work... I've already read, that after the replacement a 'SAFE' word will come up in the display and I have to enter the radio safe code, but the radio is not turning on, the display is dark.

Is there any suggestion what I have to check?

No, I don't have the code yet, I should remove the radio to have the serial number of the radio.
The radio type is: Audi symphony

make sure you didnt blow the fuse to the radio .. it should show safe when you try to power it on

procedure is as follows
1. press P.SCAN and RBDS buttons simultaneously and hold down until 1000 lights up , immediately release.
2. use buttons 1-4 on the radio to toggle through the digits until the code is entered.
3. press P.SCAN and RBDS buttons simultaneously to lock it in.

the code is sometimes written on the options sticker in the trunk
