Audi A6 buzzing noise

Audi A6 buzzing noise
I have a 2000 Audi A6 and there is a buzzing noise coming from under the hood. It only does it when the car is running and I press the gas pedal. As soon as I release the gas pedal it stops. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Have you tried opening the hood and listening for it? If the engine isn't running and it's throttle related, it's your throttle body. If the engine's running and it's throttle related, it could be absolutely anything.

buzzing noise
I ad a buzzing noise coming from under the hood and it turned out to be my timing belt chewing away at the tensioner arm. Check it out before you do damage. I thought I had a fan going bad. Not.

PCV valve?? The big black round thingie at the back of the engine on the 4.2.
