Passengers in the rear

If there are passengers in the rear, I don't feel it as much.

Those tires should be pretty decent in the wet

Maybe they need to wear in a bit. I'd wait and see and have the alignment checked as others have mentioned.

Second on the alignment.

If the toe is off, you can get some weird sensations when one wheel loses traction. The rest of the time, all is normal.

Are you sure the road is completely flat?
I ask you that because over here there is a particular manhole that makes the car feels like you described but thats on the bridge going downhill and there is some gradient to the right for the water to run off the asphalt...
Every other bump or manhole feels ok but definitely you can feel it..
