i bought an wind deflector from ebay b/c i really need one i use my sun roof every day and i cant stand the wind noise i had one of those stick on, in my last benz and it was ok but i really like the clip on style. has neone bought from this guy on ebay. I think they improve the look of the car but that might just be cuz of me i think they look great if your car is tinted b/c it matches it.

We have had one for about 8 months now. It is alright, I guess. The one advantage to it, has been that we have parked the car and left the sunroof cracked to the first notch and not worried as much about anything getting in. But at the same time, it has not really made a difference as far as wind noise while driving.

I am not a fan of those. I think for the most part, they take away from the clean lines of the roof.
If you are concerned about wind noise/air pressure in the cabin with the moonroof open alll the way and your windows closed, then dial it back from the furtherst open position a notch or two, and the air pressure will equalize and you will not get that wind buffeting effect.
However, other may like the look of the deflector, and that is fine too. Justlike the rear spoiler, some like the original lines of the trunk, others feel like the trunk just needs something there.
Personal preference...your car, do what you want about the deflector, but I just thought you should know that you can just click it back a notch or two to eliminate the noise.

In fact, I actually watched the video that came with the car, and that is Audi's suggested fix for the buffeting,,, to open a window a bit.
