Audi CPO + 3rd Party Warranty Question

I have a little over 2 months or another 6k miles left of the full Audi warranty before the CPO warranty kicks in. Being that the CPO warranty is not the same as the full 4year/50k warranty, I was wonder if anyone knows if any 3rd party warranty company provides a "If the CPO warranty does not pay for it we will." coverage. I know you can pick up a more or less full coverage 3rd party warranty for around $2200 but was thinking that since I have the CPO warranty I could get a 3rd party "over flow" warranty that would be cheaper and still end up with a more or less full coverage warranty between the two.
Or maybe I'm just crazy and this would end up being more trouble then its worth. Any thoughts or comments on this will be much appreciated?
Thanks.

Personally without knowing what the CPO does not cover I would think that you would be just a bit over kill with 2 warranties. Thinking of the "major stuff" that would go wrong I would think CPO would cover them. What is left might be less than another warranty to carry. But I have no idea what CPO does/not cover. Hope that helps?

appears to cover most major (i.e. expensive) systems. While the exact terms of the CPO warranty are moving targets (what is covered today may not be coveredtomorrow), it is safe to say that it covers most systems that do not require periodic replacement/inspection (ie timing belt, brake pads, CV boots/control arms) unless the part fails well prior to a scheduled inspection/replacement. A prime example is a timing belt. On my '02 model, the manual requires replacement at 105k miles. If it suffers a catastrophic failure at 70k miles then it would be covered.
A supplemental warranty is worthless because it is next to impossible to find a warranty that covers "wear" items. Further, it is unlikely that you would have $2k worth of repairs outside of your CPO warranty - a set of CV boots, control arms and related "stuff" probably sets you back $600-800 at a good indy shop.

that cover like bumper-to-bumper excluding powertrain ("wrap" plans) that avoid duplication for some brands that issue long factory powertrain coverage. It's still too much. Try Warrantech, they offer such a plan. I can tell you that plan's cost for your car - I don't sell it - if you email me.
