Audi/Eibach springs update and a few thoughts... (very long)

and that an addititional 1/2" is "acceptable" to them. That's 42-43mm total "lowering"...as I said, mine is 49-50mm front and 53-54mm rear.
Did you see the Eibach ad in the latest (April) European Car? Inside front cover...shows pro-kit springs, pro-damper, and anti-roll kit. Featured is their "Pro-System" full sport/lowering suspension kit that is available "for select applications of Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Saab and Volkswagen."
Don't know which Audi, or if this kit differs from the pro-kit springs and pro-dampers.
I might have to give them a call...

I had ground-up-to-fender-lip figures from when the car was somewhat new. I do not have c/l up to fender lip measurements from when my car was new(er). When the springs went in (after about 8-9 months) I measured again from ground up, but the installer said the important measurement was from the c/l of the hub. By comparing measurements then and now I got the total "drop". Don't have the figures in front of me now, but I can post them later if you wish.
