Default Auto-down RH mirror *not* standard (for WildBlueYonder and others)
That feature is *not* standard on all A6's.

My '01 A6 does *not* have this feature. The manual says that feature is present only on cars with the seat memory.

Has something changed recently? Is this something I should take to dealer and get 'fixed'?

Default What A6 doesn't have seat memory?
Don't all U.S. A6s come standard with power seats, therefore seat memory?

Frontraks and many low-end 2.8 Q's have no seat memory.

Default Really?! That's ridiculous
There's nothing worse than power seats without memory. You can never hope to duplicate a seating position. And how much are they saving, since the seats are already made for it?

Think it was std. on my '98 (maybe it came with the s/roof)..had to get prem. pack on '01 to get it.
