I'm looking to install a small red neon tube inside my hood that shines down so it will create a small accent light for shows. I want an independent switch so I can control whether or not the light turns on or off. I know how to wire this up and I'm tempted for ease of installation to just get power from the headlights but then I wouldn't be able to turn them on or off as I please not to mention attract the lovely law enforcement.
Does anyone know the easiest, let me rephrase, the best way to get through the double firewall so I can wire the switch? Thanks.
