Every time I drive the S6 through rain or snow I notice that the airflow drives water right down the rear hatch window. This never happened with the '95.5 S6 Avant - and that one had a small spoiler at the top of the hatch. I hardly ever used the rear wiper on the UrS6, but it is on practically all the time on the new one.

Okay, so I'm vain and I hate having dust/streaked windows. But do other Avants (A6 Avant, Allroad, etc.) come stock with some sort of deflector in the rear?

The back window easily gets mucked up. I don't know if a spoiler would help

...on Audi wagons. My allroad sure suffers from it.

What we really need is what my wife had on her previous Subaru Forester, what they called a "dust deflector", like <a href="http://www.subaru.com/images/shop/forester/25xs/accessories/images/rearwindowdeflctr.jpg">this</a> -- a sort of mini air scoop that worked wonders.

Her new Forester has their spoiler, which has a scoop-like air slot, but it doesn't work nearly as well. And Audi's spoiler doesn't have an air slot, so it probably works even less well. HPH
