B5S4 front rotors= A6 2.7T w/HP2 front rotors? archives say mostly yes but i need confirmation...

i have a 2000 A6 2.7T so it has the HP2 calipers that the B5S4 also has. can anyone confirm that the rotors are interchangeable? yes i STFA but got a few conflicting results...

different. Not certain if this is the definitive reference source, but I have ordered pads and rotors from them and parts have been correct application.

rotors used with HP2's. I had a conversation about this with a parts type person. His explaination was that A6 2.7Ts and B5S4s have one offset (I think it was 16.7mm) and some or all A6 4.2s have the greater offset (I think it was 22.7mm). That being said, You could always just measure the offset to verify.
