Default bad service from Paul Miller Audi in NJ re ordering parts

Hey all

I just want to vent about how bad their service is. The most recent gripe I have regarding them:

I brought my car in for routine maintenance in February. In addition to the routine maint., my sunroof was having problems but they needed to order a sunroof switch. they said it would be in within a week. They said they would contact me when it came in.

I called a week later and they said the part wasnt in yet and reiterated that THEY would contact ME when it came in.

It's almost June now...no call, no postcard.

It's always like this with them. Every time my car is in for service, they promise to call me when it's done. They never do. I always have to call them, and then they're like "it's done, come pick it up." Not even "sorry we forgot to call you, you can come pick it up."

Are all dealers like this?

thanks for letting me vent.

Nope, all dealers aren't. I use Audi of Mendham, and they're not bad.

Default Identical story with seat subframe for my S4. Ditto on "it's done" attitude (more)

I am so displeased with Paul Miller service manager that I now take my car to High Marques in Morristown even for oil changes. I'd rather pay someone who does job well than put up with Paul Miller's "service" (although all maintenance is free on the S4)

Default Same here...

Holbert's Audi in Warrington, PA did the same thing to me. They told me that thay ordered a radio head unit, rear speaker, and O2 sensor. I recently discovered that nothing had been ordered after I was reassured twice that everything was taken care of.

I feel like I have to manage my own dealer. On the brighter side, when they do work on my car it is top notch.
