Default Bank 2 sensor 1

I recently purchased a 2000 A6 2.7 quattro. I have the following codes;

P1423 and P1411 which is the secondary air system. I was told my combi valves are causing this code.
Where are the combi valves located. I found a thread on how to clean/diagnose them... I just need to find them

Also, I am also getting two O2 sensor codes. After I cleared my codes, only one code came back P1131; Bank 2, sensor 1 resistance too high.

I found a thread that said bank 2 was the left side of the car.......but with no reference of where you are looking at the car to determine left from right.

So, is bank 2 on the passengers side or drivers side???

Thank you all for your help

Bank 2 is Driver's Side. (DS). When referring to left or right side of vehicle, it based on position when your sitting in the drivers seat. Assuming you face forward when you drive, then:
RIGHT = Passenger Side = Bank 1 (cylinders 1-2-3)
LEFT = Drivers Side = Bank 2 (cylinders 4-5-6)

Thankyou! I found one thread that was not discriptive and confusing. If I was working on the vehicle, Passenger side/driver side is a lot more specific regardless of where you are in reference to the car. Looks like I have to replace drivers side O2 sensor, bank2, sensor 1.

Also, where are the combi valves? I don't have a shop manual for my A6 yet

Thank you again!

Hope you're not in UK.

The combi-valves are are the two cylindrical flying saucer looking things at the back of the engine, right over the valve covers. There is a rubber hose going from the secondary air pump to each combi valve, and a silicone hose coming off a small nub on the combi valve. If you look at the back of the engine, near the fire wall, you will see the SAI pump with a hose that goes out in an almost T shape - one side of the top of the T goes toward each side of the engine - and plugs into each of the combi valves.

Sorry, don't have a picture. Hope that description is helpful.

and getting them off is no treat either ... id be replacing every piece of vacuum hose in there as well as SAI pump hose before ever attempting to take those buggers off.

a high vacuum source is routed through solenoid vales, then more hose to the combi valve which is a diaphram valve. if you lose vacum anywhere along that line the valve wont open.

If you have SAI, you certainly have combi valves.

I have three A6 2.7T cars, one has SAI and two do not.

3 A6's ! Wow, that must keep you busy.
I only have 1 A6 to learn from, & it doesn't have SAI, which was why I asked.

If you don't have SAI, there is no way that you should be getting SAI codes.

Three A6s is not much of a problem. If you learn on one, you don't have to learn on the other two. I always have something to do, though.
