Default haha

i started off with stock bose in my last car..

by the end of it i had a 15 inch sub in a 5 ft ported box with 1600wrms

just stay stock man and you will never go otherwise, its too much of a hassle with aftermarket stuff

Default A classic, for sure.

Back when SNL was actually worth watching.

Default This is a good setup. The W6 is a DVC and will accept a lot of power from your amp.

You can run the sub pretty intensely without having to worry about destroying it. It has a lot of travel. You need an aftermarket one or two channel amp. Run the two channel bridged and make sure you have the proper resistance (ohms) setup between the speaker and amp.

You can tap the signal from the sub in the trunk and disconnect the leads (to avoid noise conflicts/cancellation) to the factory sub and disable it. All you need is to run a power wire and buy an adapter for the signal wire.

JL Audio makes great subwoofers and the 12W6 was their top of the line sub last time I checked.

Default Word, I've got two 12" Rockford Fosgate subs from back in high school!

It has seen three different cars, with three different setups.

The bigger the enclosure, the more bass you're gonna get.
