Default Bedding in of brake pads dilemma......

Literature from Mintex that came with the Red Box pads for the front state very clearly to NOT use excessive braking to bed in the pads.

Whattup wit dat????

Do I listen to them or do the norm bedding in procedure everyone talks about?

Thanks

Default Bedding procedures are specific to different pads.

You should follow the instructions that came with your pads. I believe some "everyday" pads require minimal bed in. If you put an everyday pad through a hard bedding procedure, you could simply be overheating them and ruining them.
