Before I rip apart the front pass door ...
My right front passenger power window went kaput. I hit the express down. The window rolled all the way down. Then I heard an ominous snapping sound! Now it won't roll bak up.
Looking through the Bentley book, it looks like I have to remove the interior trim and the door component carrier to get to the window regulator. And sadly, it looks like that regulator is pop riveted on - so it won't be easy to take off.
Anyone have any thoughts or warnings before I proceed?
Thanks!

You dont need to remove the door trim. There are screws on each corner of the door panel. And than it slides up. Last dumbass that tried to take off my door panel broke the window switch because they thought that there were screws there. Oh, that was a European Shop that said they worked on Audi's so know I'll never go there again.
Anyway, dont remove door trim or window switch cause you dont need to. Otherwise you do have to take it off to see whats wrong. Nothing you can do with it on.

it is probably the window reg. I have replaced dozens. You will need to remove the door panel to disconnect motor from reg. and multiple other reasons. This should be the least of your concerns tho, removing door panel is very easy. you will probably break a few clips, normal, and cheap to replace.
