Default virtually required for self-maintenance. good price, but same as on their website.

you can also get it from www.ross-tech.com IF you buy his vag-com software (also a virtual necessity for self-maintenance) at about the same price but with shipping included.

longer review on the CD: a typical factory manual, in that it doesn't illustrate and guide you through every single detail of every procedure, but has some critical info that sometimes you can't do without.

Default Buying from ROSS TECH is $70 including postage and it is worth it...CAUTION...

The software is good for one computer and does not transfer to another w/o extensive work on your part talking to Bentley people. I would not trust an ebay item like this one unless they can guarantee it has not been registered. And it must be registered in order to use it.

The CD is worth the $70 if you intend to do your own work on some things and you own the VAG-COM tool Ross sells. Uwe does a great job keeping us informed on new software he adds al the time and it is free for current owners of VAG COM tool.

Default all as i said B4, BUT Uwe only sells to registered VAG-COM owners (so just buy em both)

to quote Uwe's website: "If we can't find you in our Customer File, your order will be ignored!"

warning is valid about copies - bogus burned CD's would be no good at all.

on the other hand, the ebay seller is zygmunt motors / www.bimmerparts.com (not just a guy with 1 CD and a burner). i have no personal BTDT with them but if you search there seem to be good comments about them in the archives. someone else pointed me to them a while back as a cheap place to get the CD if you aren't a VAG-COM owner and don't want to drop the $200 in order to be one.
