Default Bernardsville Audi takes delivery of it's first new generation A8

Just saw it dropped off on their lot late this afternoon. A silver one, and surprised-guess my mistake. But I thought new gen. A8's were not due until late summer/early Fall.

Also-surprising. I did not have time to stop and give it the look over, but my first impression is that it is not as sleek as I expected it to appear in real time. The profile looked kind of on the bulky side. Maybe my impression will change on the next pass down Morristown Road.

Default I went back tonight for some pics, digital camera in hand...

But I would the interior lives up as spectularly to it's reputation from the photos. Still not sure what I think about the exterior, MHO, but maybe it will grow on me.

Default The car that toured the auto shows sat much lower...

I think the air suspension is locked into maximum ride height, for shipping, on this car. Check this one out after it's "prep" is complete. It'll look much more sleek.

Default I saw two of them a few weeks ago...

at our local Audi dealer. They had manufacturer plates and I pulled out behind one as it left the dealer. It was freakin' gorgeous! I'm in lust!
