Hi,
I'm in SF bayarea. Can anyone tell me how good a deal you can get from the local dealers on a fully loaded 2.8? Is $1000 over invoice possible? I know 2.7T has been very hot but not sure about 2.8.
Anyone knows the money factor for a 3 year (12,000 miles/year) lease and the residual? Thanks.

I bought my 2.7T in a completely hassle free email exchange with Rector Motors in Burlingame. They quoted me a set price ($2,000 over invoice) and were very responsive. Follow the link, submit your desired options, and David Liebensen will email you very promptly with pricing and availability.
Good luck!<ul><li><a href="http://www.rectorcars.com">http://www.rectorcars.com</a</li></ul>

I ordered my 2000 A6 2.8Q through the now-defunct carOrder.com, and it was delivered through Rector Motors. Very soon after ordering, I learned that carOrder ordered my car through Rector and that David Liebenson would be my contact there.
My experience with David and Rector was exactly like bradleymon's - excellent in every regard, no hassle, no baloney, and one that I'd recommend to anyone.
BTW, I've had my car for 4 months and love it. Good luck to you!

You know when you go to some down-market lot and they are handing out ballons ? Well, those ballons mean something. The salespeople agree that certain colours will signify different kinds of shoppers. Green - good possible buyers. Yellow - cheap grinder. Blue - a 'jack', etc. They ask a few questions, ask if you would like a ballon, and then let you wander.
