Wow. Overkill unless you have overboost/chipped engine with bigger turbos.

I ran over 18psig boost on a 2liter Saab for a couple hundred thousand miles and only changed NGKs every 30K miles. The plugs never affected performance although the gap changed from .028" to .032 over 30K miles. Plug wires were the wear issue; bougicords died about every two years. Finally went to magnacore lifetime guarantee 8mm wires...LOL, even those only lasted 4–5 years...got several new sets before I sold the car.

Thank goodness for direct coil ignition...

I'm looking at getting some new Plugs for my 2.8 and was wondering two things:

• what is the OEM for these (make and model)
• the best place to buy these

i am suspicious of their claims too, but do you actually know what they are doing and that it is snake oil?

On my similarly tweaked 900t, I regapped NGK's every oil change. Finally sold her at 346k. Water leaks were the death knell. Got tired of drying out the rubber under-carpet padding after every rainstorm.

yes, e3 dont do anything different, and the other ones just put a capacitor in the head of the spark plug
