Wow. Overkill unless you have overboost/chipped engine with bigger turbos.
I ran over 18psig boost on a 2liter Saab for a couple hundred thousand miles and only changed NGKs every 30K miles. The plugs never affected performance although the gap changed from .028" to .032 over 30K miles. Plug wires were the wear issue; bougicords died about every two years. Finally went to magnacore lifetime guarantee 8mm wires...LOL, even those only lasted 4–5 years...got several new sets before I sold the car.
Thank goodness for direct coil ignition...

On my similarly tweaked 900t, I regapped NGK's every oil change. Finally sold her at 346k. Water leaks were the death knell. Got tired of drying out the rubber under-carpet padding after every rainstorm.
