Default Bigger Family, Bigger Car Needed...Thoughts?

My 00' 2.8 Avant is not cutting it anymore. Need something bigger....Would like to ask what people think....Read much through the search already, but want to know what you think of pricing, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Choices:
1) 00' 2.7T A6 with sport, xenon, etc. Build date of 9/00'. 30k miles. Price of 22.7k

2) 01' 4.2 A6 non-sport, 16 months left on warranty, with 37k miles. Price of 28k.

3) 00' 4.2 A6 non-sport, 30k miles, price of $24.7

I would probably buy an extended on the 00's.

Default I'll go with #2 or #3 just because it's non-sport (easy on rest of your family member),

it's got V8 (quiet and smooth).

Default If you buy extended for the '00 4.2 (about $2k), you may as well get the '01 4.2. Having said that,

why not an A6 Avant or an AR? I'm assuming your present car is an A4 Avant? Where in Mpls are you? I'm in Maple Grove.

Default Weird.....you get more kids...but lose the Avant and cargo space for a sedan???

Sounds like you are looking for more HP...not iterior volume.

Why not get a used S6 Avant...best of all worlds!!!

Default 2.8 Avant => A4? Bigger is therefore an A6, but...

...your three choices are sedans. Keep your eyes open for an allroad -- it would be like #1 but (a) a station wagon and (b) newer, because '01 is the first MY. Look for a May '01 or later build, and you'll avoid the '00 - early '01 issues discussed here. (Of course, if an S6 pops up, look at it, too.) HPH

Default Go with #2. Is that asking price or your estimated sale...

price? Are these cars at an Audi dealer? If so, Audi Assured costs the dealer around $900. The '01 with Audi Assured would be sweet.
