Blank Stare moment of the day, week, month, year, ever.. Pulled into our local AutoZone ...
to pick up some car wash, and other misc things.
Parked relatively near a kid, wearing a hip-hop costume, with a black riced out Integra. In New Hampshire.
For any of you who haven't seen my car, it's got a couple of AudiWorld stickers on it, and stickers from KTR, and PureMS, from a long time ago.
Anyway, as my son and I get out of the car, the kid asks me, "hey, you got anything done to the car, or just the stickers?"... I was somewhat dumbfounded, a, because none of my stickers represent big name tuner shops or anything like that (nothing that your average ricer would understand anyway), and b, this kid had a ricey Honda.
So we get to talking (after I told him what my stickers were all about) and he tells me that it's a 'real GTR' whatever that means, and that the VTEC solenoid is shot, so he's got no VTEC. Sucks to be him.
I didn't have the heart to tell him that his red painted interior trim looked like crap...
Now I'm going to go to the garage and install the HUGE MTM tips that bac2h gave me. =)
