Sad enough, when I first sat in A6 4.2, I thought "Wow, my Maxima sounded a lot better...". It also had a bose sound system.
It's not BAD, but it's not the best either. It also depends on the sound. For Rock/Pop/Rap/R&B, Maxima's sound system sounded tons better. On the classical/Jazz, Audi might be a touch better. But on a louder settings, the system seems to have hard time holding it's sound.
Then again, I thought it was me. I have a really nice stereo at home (Audio Refinement Complete's Integrated AMP, Paradigm's Studio Monitors, and Monster M2.4 bi-wires for my stereo. Use MD to convert old LP's to digital, and Ariston Q-Deck for turn table. (Yeah, I have cd, dvd player, and IPOD too))
That said, I think it's OK compared to others. I wish the base was better though. Maybe it's the location?
