Re: BNS Navi?
Ok I just tried everything suggested. Tried holding the eject button numerous different ways. Nothing. The light on the unit itself lights up. and blinks, but nothing. As far as toggling between the screens on dash. It just goes from reg(MPG)to off completely? Weirdest thing...checked for fuse which I guess I should have done first. Its not in there! Grab a small 10 fuse and put it in. except there is nothing for the fuse to go into. #17 slot is empty literally. Nothing to hold the fuse in at all. It just falls out! WTf could be going on here? Obviously the system isn't going to work without power. Why would the controls and cd holder in trunk be lighting up then? I am thinking maybe the system kept shorting and the previous owner just yanked the whole fuse assembly?
I'm going to try and look into this more later. Its 3am and I don't feel like being out in the cold.

Nav buttons will light up if lights are on.. regardless if unit is working
To start system u have to push NAV button on controls . Push once give it about 10 sec then try pushing it again for 10 sec. If nothing then unit could be faulty. Even without disc mine will turn on but says insert disc.

Re: Nav buttons will light up if lights are on.. regardless if unit is working
Thats why I'm confused. The actual system fuse slot is empty. So I don't even get a screen for the unit to say "insert disc". I understand the unit is faulty probably. I am more concerned about the fuse slot being empty.
