waiting for my Rs4 carbon fiber engine covers and I thought that maybe I could make the other engine cover (close to the airbox) match too. Had some good quality carbon vinyl laying around and did this.

So lessee, you have a heavier engine cover that looks like carbon fiber.
I guess that's an appearance, beauty is in the eye of the beholder thing.
Personally, I don't find carbon fiber attractive at all, except for any functional usage, i.e, weight savings.

haha I was waiting for someone to diss this! But like i said I was bored... cleaning my engine and I thought of a half A$$ idea to make my stuff match (maybe simply removing this piece would have been a better solution). But really, it might look nice with the other 3 (real carbon) covers all in place.

Honestly I couldn't agree more. I would hate carbon fiber trim in my car, I'd much rather have wood trim. Makes it look like a Honda with all that crap
