Default Bored so I made this

waiting for my Rs4 carbon fiber engine covers and I thought that maybe I could make the other engine cover (close to the airbox) match too. Had some good quality carbon vinyl laying around and did this.

That would be pretty awesome to do.. Specially cause people look for that carbon-fiber look, do a black friday special lol

So lessee, you have a heavier engine cover that looks like carbon fiber.
I guess that's an appearance, beauty is in the eye of the beholder thing.
Personally, I don't find carbon fiber attractive at all, except for any functional usage, i.e, weight savings.

haha I was waiting for someone to diss this! But like i said I was bored... cleaning my engine and I thought of a half A$$ idea to make my stuff match (maybe simply removing this piece would have been a better solution). But really, it might look nice with the other 3 (real carbon) covers all in place.

Honestly I couldn't agree more. I would hate carbon fiber trim in my car, I'd much rather have wood trim. Makes it look like a Honda with all that crap
