Bose Symphony shutting off...Help 02 A6

I was driving home from work today and my 1 year old replacement symphony unit (other unit failed) began to turn off every two minutes and then turn back on right away. I have a Sirius (external) radio in the car that is hard wired to the radio (I have had this for around one year with no problems).
Please let me know if you have heard of this/experienced this before.
Thanks,
Fred

Mine goes out and I have to pull the fuse. Fuse fits tightly, doesn't blow, but pulling and reinstalling it reactivates the stereo. So I'm thinking there maybe a short-protection feature in the Bose, and I'm wondering whether the console-wire recall is stereo related.

Alldata.com, IIRC, shows a recall to relocate a wire in the center console that can get worn from the driver's knee and short out. I was just brainstorming, I don't know whether the wire is at all related to the stereo.
