So the GF was driving the A6 today, bottomed out going about 15 mph over a little dip in the road.... all the oil spilled out. I had the plastic guard removed as I was monitoring an oil leak so there was direct contact with the pavement.
Any ideas... cracked oil pan? dislodged oil filter (hopefully)?
Just dropped it off at the dealership.

I was going over some rail road tracks.. cracked it in a few spots.. So I pulled it, and tried to get it welded up.. I found a new one for about a hundred bucks, but I wanted to save some money.. the welder could not get the metal to stick, so I took it back, cleaned it up, and then put JB weld on it. Now this was just hair line cracks along some of the baffles. I JB welded BOTH sides, inside and out.. and so far, no leaks and no problems.

berms at Supercross events. Photo the location and assess if the dip was properly marked. City I used to work for paid handsomely for a bad dip that damaged several cars.
