Bought a 2000 A6 Avant today! Am I in the club now?
I haven't seen it yet but my dealer bought a 2000 A6 Avant yesterday for me at the Manheim auction here in PA. It has 51,000 miles (makes it affordable after the assured is gone), silver with black interior. Most of the avants were going in the low 20's if assured or high teens in out of warrantee but mine was one of the last ones of the day and we got it for $15k. It needs one CV boot, a rear transmission seal, and I'll probably get new brakes and tires to bring it up to nice condition. Best part is I can now finally drive the A8 to work each day. First order of business is to get a nice photo of the two for my sig. I would never have bought a second Audi if it was not for the support and enthusiasm I get from AudiWorld each day. Thanks Ted Basile and others on your advice. I'll be putting together my questions for the list.

I just bought a 2000 2.8 Avant for my wife.
It's a very nice one-owner vehicle with a relatively high 70K miles.
I was shopping for a Honda Odyssey for the family when I stumbled on the A6. I've always been an Audi fan, so I couldn't resist. I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was! I was an auto appraiser for an insurance company and am now a total loss claims manager, so I deal with values daily.
