Default Chip the tip! It will cut the shift lag in half, very substantial. After this mod I dont regret not

having a manual.

Default Doesn't it change shift time from .8 to .2 secs? Technically, a shorter shift time should be better

for the converter lock ups. I know the Weissach boys figured it out when the did the Tip S for the 996TT.

The tranny chip maybe. Any turbo motor.....ahhhh.....Yah.

Default problem is that you lose warranty when you chip it, though, but that sounds VERY tempting - expand..

please, if you can. Also, I'm curious what chip you went with on the 4.2 since it is not a turbo.
