Default Brake Options for 2002 S6

The S6 I bought a few weeks ago has warped front rotors. The dealer replaced the pads a few weeks before but did not turn or replace the rotors. The car has the 22.7mm offset rotors. What are my options for upgraded brakes. Most of the BBK and Replacment Rotors only fit cars with 16.7mm offset rotors I have heard that Porsche Cayanne calipers bolt on, but what rotors would I use and would they work with the rotor offset? Can I use RS6 rotors and calipers? Can I use brakes from another model Audi? What parts would I need to swap to change the rotor offset? I don't want to replace the rotors only to warp them again in a few thousand miles.

Default S6 and 4.2 rotors are the same on US spec C5 cars

So just look for any 4.2 listing for the C5. I think the 4.2 is consistently the 22.7 offset. It is the 2.7T that varies. In Europe I think S6's had beefier brakes, but they didn't make it here.

RS 6 rotors are larger, and it is a different caliper, front and rear. You need 18's too to run the larger rotors. You could poke around for D2 S8 brakes (4.2's and A8 brakes were similar for C5 vs. D2), but they are likely unobtainium given low numbers of D2 S8's. If you stand back though, these cars really have pretty substantial front rotors and beefy calipers as they aleady stand, certainly for US speed limits.

I just installed DBA rotors on my 4.2 last weekend, front and rear. Compared to stock, the DBA's clearly have much better internal cooling just like their promotional material says. It was really obvious when I put the old and new rotors side by side. When I bought them, they just had the 4000 cast iron guys (I got slotted); now I think they have the 5000 removable hat ones too, at least in front.

Among other places, you can get DBA's from awe-tuning. For the record, I went 82,000 miles on my original rotors. Fronts were beyond wear limit probably, rears were marginal. Only very slight vibration in front (with new tires and good suspension) before I did the change out.

A factory option is an RS6 setup. Larger than most aftermarket and not too expensive.
