brake problem continues...
MBC is fine and not leaking they say.
the 2nd dealer now explained that the lip on the rotors was making contact with the pads first and causing the crappy braking...this doesnt really explain the poor pedal feel. They also said that since i took the 4 torx bolts out to disassemble the caliper to get it off the carrier i might have damaged the caliper by doing this. They said that that you dont need to take the caliper apart to remove it from the car. He said you only remove 2 bolts? to remove it? (taking the carrier off with the caliper???)
could this entire issue just be the pads not hitting the rotor properly because of the lip?

There are allen bolts under dust covers that probably should have been loosened instead of cracking
the caliper in half. The allens are the slide pins and connect to the top and bottom of the carrier. Oh well atleast you are up and running.
