Default Bra's revisited

I'm in a bit of a bind. I'm driving to Ausin from SoCal on Friday and I need to buy a bra for the A6. I know the 3M clear bra is the way to go for long term use but this is just to protect the car on long trips like this one. I went to the Audiusa site and they listed a bra for '00 2.7 but the dealer told me they don't make one anymore. Any suggestions on where I can get one by Friday?

Deperate in So Cal!

Default Don't do it! It'll chew up your paint......

...go to Home Depot/Lowe's and buy some blue 3M painter's tape instead - until you get the clear bra

Default BS...if your car is clean, and your bra is clean AND IT FITS CORRECTLY....no issues at all

I have used mine 5 times in 3 years for trips between 500 and 2000 miles and have not one scratch or abrasion.

I've used vinyl/leather bra's on all of my cars for years. MFI's right if the car is clean/bra is clean and installed correctly then you won't have any issues. The people who have problems leave them on day in and day out rain or shine. That's when you will see clouding or uneven fade.

BTW I still need a bra (for my car smart a%#) any help in THAT direction would be appreciated
