Bra's revisited
#12
There are many ifs in this -- if the car stays clean, if the bra does not loosen in the heat, etc.
Don't use the bra get 3M it is a good investment, or use Finman's blue tape ;-)

I found a dealer!
I called two dealers and they just said that Audi won't sell them anymore. Finally Rusnak in Pasadena Ca made the call and will have one for me by Thursday. That's service!

I'm with you...
I had a bra on a previous car, and it totally killed the paint underneath. I agree with the other posts suggesting that a perfect fit, keeping things clean, keeping moisture down will alleviate this problem, but that's somewhat of a tall order sometimes.

You mean the automotive equivalent of taped bifocals and a pocket protector? Call Southwest!
It's just a car. If it gets a few chips, touch it up or respray it at some point. Otherwise do a clear bra. There's not that much debris on those roads. Those black bras are likely to cause scratches of their own, and besides that, they look plain stupid. You know it's true.
Best option - FLY! Jet Blue or Southwest are both great and cheap. Well, Southwest is at least cheap.
