Break-in routine

Break-in routine
Now seriously, what does the owners manual call for in terms of break-in? I'm picking up my new S6 on Saturday and the dealership is 70 freeway miles away. the car already has 300 miles on it (nice gentle demo miles I hope). How do I drive it home and how longh should I pamper it. First oil change opinions?

Per Page 195 of S6 Manual:
1st 600 Miles: Do not use full throttle, do not drive faster than than 75% of top speed shown on the speedometer, avoid high engine speeds (RPM's I assume) and void towing a trailer.
From 600 to 1000 miles, speeds can gradually be increased to maximum permissilbe road or engine speeds.
Also, warning regarding new tires. They need to be broken-in as well (usually 300 miles). New tires tend to be slippery so don't break too hard or follow too close.
Otherwise, enjoy the new ride.
