I had a perfectly tight fitting bumper when I went in for servicing. Supposedly they installed clips on the bumper as part of the recall, and now I have about 3-4mm of gap where the bumper meets the fender on both sides tapering forward. Has anyone else seen this? I'm wondering if they damaged the bumper, or if it is really the clips causing the problem.
thanks,

If your bumper was not damaged before, there would have been no reason to remove the bumper to do the recall. The only time it gets removed for that is if the bumper is being replaced. Unless you had some other service done during the recall where the bumper would need to be removed. (water pump etc) Otherwise the clips that get installed are not fastened to the bumper but to the lock carrier itself.
