Default Yeah, that's what I figured from the pics in your pic poster...

I've been to Finland a few times, and those pics didn't look too familiar

Too bad Brittney Spears didn't play at Eurovision. Now THAT would have been really embarassing!

Default Exactly. Load rating is, after all, the pressure that the tire can safely support.

To see it clearly - take it to extreme. Put a bicycle tire on and guess what will happen. Now an earthmover's tire.

QED.

Default i wish i had a similar experience, i really do...

but i didn't. nobody's fault. some wheels are more likely to bend than others. great example is the first year of the rs4 (2000). everyone complained about how fragile those wheels were. there are discussions about this on this site! 2001, the problem went away. are the wheels i have similarly soft? we don't even know who makes them! hartmann brokered them, then stopped using them soon after mine were delivered. i bought one of the first sets out and i think they were weak. wheel-bending bumps are usually a memorable event. i recall no such event. further, if i hit a bump big enough to bend 3, why did the 4th survive?

no worries. just better to go with OEM in my opinion, and ironicly, the opinion of many of the sceptics who jumped to the defense of hartmann in this thread (based on previous threads about replicas v. OEM).

again, my expectations of hartmann standing behind these wheels was unrealistic. so, in effect, my bad.

We still have the same wheels without issue, plus we have added our own with big brake clearance
