Buying Nemo Blue S6 Avant sight unseen...Am I nuts?
After studying as many pics as I could find here and elsewhere on the net, I have decided to "go for it" and buy this car sight unseen. Moving up from my 00 S4 Sedan. Need more of a bike/ski wagon and the Allroad styling just doesn't do it for me.
Everyone seems to really like Nemo and from what I can tell, it's relatively rare on an S6 Avant.
Car to arrive Thurs and delivery scheduled for Friday.

Not nuts...it is excellent...very rare...
it was not a standard color, but somehow a few dealers ordered a bunch of Nemos...there might be 10 or so in the entire country (just guessing...there are definitely very few)...but Nemo looks great.

Word of caution...
Hopefully it's a different car - but the only one I know of in the East was one taken back by the local dealer here because they couldn't get the On-Star and telephone systems to mesh or work... they tore the car apart and the owner ended up refusing to take it back....
As I said - hopefully it's a different car - this one was in Maine... worth asking a bit of background given how rare that car is...'

I like the RS6 Styling actually...
esp. the bumpers.
Allroad OTOH looks too "clunky" to me. Just my .02. I do like the rare allroads I've seen with the molding painted body color. The industrial grey doesn't do it for me.
Of course it resists soccer ball scuff marks pretty well... ;-)
