Camshaft position sensor
Hi Folks!
My car has been shifting funny so I hooked up the VAGCOM and it came back with P0346 :: Camshaft position sensor bank 2 sensor A. Can someone tell me which one of the sensors this is? I've located all 4 so I just need to know which one this is, so I don't have to play guess and check.
I have a 2005 A6 3.2L Q.
Greatly appreciated.

Just thought I'd post solution to this issue:
It turns out it was the camshaft position solenoid valve NOT the sensor and it was an easy fix. It took me all of 10 minutes to do and cost me $98 because I bought it from the dealer just to later find it online for $68 shipped (link below). It's held in by 1 star screw. You should examine all four of the camshaft solenoid valves to see if any of them look noticibly damaged (mine was loose around the crimp) or have a mechanic look at them/scan your car to see if he can tell you which one to replace. Mine was in bank 2 on the drivers side on the back of the block. If you are getting the same code then it could be the same one.
Part Number: 06E 109 257 J
Can be purchased here:

Good luck!
