I'm thinking of selling the A4 Avant and buying a A6 avant but I need a manual. I think I saw something about this once but I can't recall. Has anyone heard of or done this?

Costs big bucks. Sensors, fire-wall mods, peddle box. They did mention that it was do-able though.

The allroad is much "sportier" than the Avant. No one really "needs" any of these Audis, but sometimes excess is nice. If you want a sporty wagon and don't mind it being somewhat small in the back seat, get the S4 Avant---nice, nice, nice.
