I noticed that my tiptronic behaved a bit funny with a cold engine. I told this to the dealer when my car needed service. The dealer couldn't find the problem and said they needed more time. When i drove home, the gearbox stayed in third gear, so now i realy have a problem. I don't trust the dealer anymore. The codes read before the service are:
18265 D1857 035
18034 P1626 035
After the service:
18258 P1850 035

It's an Audi A6 2.5 TDI.

Anyone an idea what's wrong?

My fear is they only make it worse. I went back offcourse, but they say it's a coincidence.

sounds like a loose/broken connection between gearbox and brains

It happened to our 01 A4 Tip. Went in and out of safe. Dealer didn;t even open the trans. They just ordered a new one and in a week we had a new tranny and this was only at 17K..

Looks to me like you have some communication issues on the CAN bus.
