Can anyone provide a picture of any Replica Silver rim next to OEM Silver Rim? Interested to see...
the differences in finish between replicas like Hartmann, Velocity, eBay Rims, Etc. and the OEM finish. I know it is an odd request, but I am going to buy rims this weekend and I though this might help. I know the risks are in the quality of the materials, not the color, but I am curious.

Even if you can't see a difference between them, I know from past experience that replicas usually..
have a less durable finish which is more prone to chipping and flaking. I'm sure there's a further difference between the various Reps.

I don't have any pics, but have seen the Hartmann's side by side next to my OEM
S4 'Celebration' rims and I can vouch for the finish quality of the Hartmann's - it is very good. I wouldn't hesitate to get some Hartmann's.

You pay what you get for. I can agree with the chipping and flaking...
I had some reps that had "chipped" over a scrap from my trailer wheel well. Wasn't too happy, but then again I paid rep price. Would have been real pissed if they would have been OEM wheels or Hartmanns. :@

Found 4 Rims at $440 vs. $1,020 (Hartmann). Both made in Italy, same weight/specs? Wish I knew...
more behind the scenes information. If I get curb rash, I could replace a wheel for less than refinishing. Hartmann's look nicer in pics, but I wish I could see them side by side.

The wheel cant even be produced in Italy for that kind of money, smells like a fish
In manufacturing you get what you pay for, if it sounds to cheap there is a reason.It cost $40 just to have a wheel heat treated in Italy.

What is your wheel weight comparison for your 18"x8.5" ET30 RS6-172 wheel. I thought I read somewhere that there was a 8-10lb difference? Is that true?
