Default Can anyone tell me what is the API Spec for '99-A6/Q Tranny & it is a ZF Tranny right?

3 questions

1. What API Spec is called for this ZF-Tranmission (any clues would be great)

2. How many miles for changing out Tranny fluid & filter.

3. Does ZF have a technical desk here in the U.S., anyone know what it is by chance.

I am trying to spec out for another brand that will meet/surpass
Audi's standards. Thanks for your help.

Default There isn't another ZF-approved fluid, other than the Esso / VAG fluid.

It is Esso LT71141, VAG P/N G 052 162 A2.

Best prices around are<ul><li><a href="http://www.etyparts.com/lubro%20moly.htm">here.</a></li></ul>

Default Well I did find a source who sells it as well

http://www.jie.com/oilref.htm
The will sell you a liter or a drum of the Esso (green) 12.60 a liter starting, I am sure that getting a drum of the stuff is cheaper.
