Can a failing wheel bearing make a pulsating noise instead of a continuous groan?

Default Can a failing wheel bearing make a pulsating noise instead of a continuous groan?

I'm getting a RRR RRR RRR sound in right-handed sweepers, comes and goes, but the right turns always bring it on.

Already swapped wheels/tires since I bent a rim recently, but the noise is still there.

Thanks! I've only heard the continuous groaning sound with previous bearing failures.

Default I replaced mine last week and it was the sound you describe. Any wheel shop can tell if it WB

Just get the car up and rotate the wheel. Should be able to hear. Mine was LOUD and it happend fast.

Default What about it? Just because you jack up the RF wheel the car wont pull off the jack.

Ask me how I know this...2000 4.2A6. I just did it.

Default If you mean putting the car in drive while the car is on jack stands this is a

really bad idea. Dangerous.
