What does a low post count have to do with common sense?

Default We're not all Mensa folk like you. Is it that hard for you to be nice to a newbie? Apparently so.

I hate the snobbish STFA replies. We all know what is really meant by that. Answere the question or keep it to yourself.

Default Let's not be silly....

I'm not a Mensa member (Mrs. GBW would be the first to confirm), when I do STFA I usually give a link (or some idea), and in this case I didn't even respond to GeoW97. Being a nOOb can't be an excuse for everything...got to draw the line somewhere

Common sense is the issue here, regardless of somebody having 1 post or 20,000...you just don't leave anything of value in a car unless you're willing to take the chance of parting with it. It's a big bad world out there....we all need to take a little responsibility for our actions....

Default LOL, yeah, no Mensa folk in this house either, again my wife would support that 110%.

As to gotta begin somewhere, I prefer to err on the side of the person asking the question, benefit of the doubt if you will. If I know the answer or have a theory, I'll answer, but I defy anyone to find one of my posts answered with "STFA." That type of response tends to put the questioneer off, not what we really want, right?

Default A n00bie to A/W is one thing, a n00bie to "life" he's not...

even if one was never affected by theft, after the first time it should make you "wake up" and know what you have/should do.

After that, it's ignorance as Dallas said.

Whatever. It's just plain stupid to reply like that. Prima Donna comes to mind.

Why not tell him the button location in the first place?
