Can I program my car to lock automatically?

Plain stupid?? You must be referring to yourself....
..when GPS thefts went up over here, I went to over a dozen "awareness meetings" in different parts.
The first thing we told the public who attended was "help us help you...bring the units in with you, and don't leave them in plain sight." It's just "plain stupid" to leave them in the car, begging to be stolen, especially when it's a known issue that thefts for these items are on the rise.
The first one was stolen from Geow97..."bad thief"...the second one..."bad GeoW97", plain and simple. Learn from your mistakes.

He's on his third GPS, he's probably not hurting financially. If he is...
he should take better care of his stuff. I'm not a big fan of STFA replies either, but this is a little different.

You might want to revisit some of you own replies
on this post..not exactly a great example.
If you're on the anti-STFA campaign, you're going after the wrong guys.....and don't confuse it with common sense

You put ME on the defensive by stating "it's just plain stupid to reply like that"..
..my reply was to GeoW97, not to you. I'm not looking to get into an argument with you, but you came after me for a response not even directed towards you.
My response was not anything negative either..the guy has lost 2 GPS's...the best thing to do at this point is not leave it in the car, period. No harm meant in what I said.
In fact the original poster has not responded to anyone here negatively or positively.

You, are the only one in this thread who's mentioned STFA...
except of course for me, and I, was responding to you. Everyone else seems to be part of a different conversation. Take a step back, and relax.

My oh my...
...everyone's perfect and so much more clever than I, who's stupid, lazy, ignorant, and unable to find the button to lock his car. Hilarious, all of you, such droll and quick-witted comedy! And all because, in the three and a half years I've lived in this house, I or my wife have forgotten to lock my car, or thought it was locked when it wasn't, twice. Hard to believe there's any debate about what "chases people away" from this forum.
