I own a 2003 A6 3.0 quattro, and ever since I've owned it the gas petal has been touchy. what I mean is you don't have to press very far or hard and the car takes off. kind of hard to drive in the winter with snow covered roads. With the tires I have on the car the back end can slide out if you are not careful. You can get use to it but I thought I hard someplace that with a VAG tool you can adjust this fly by wire motion some how. by changing a value in the computer. Any one know about this?? maybe I'll ask on the VAG forum. Thanks...
other than that the car runs pretty good. 73K miles.

I don't know about adjusting but you can reset it by flooring the gas pedal and then turning the ignition on (not the engine). Hold the gas pedal floored for 60 seconds. I believe this resets both the transmission adaptation and the gas pedal.

Ok, maybe I'll try it, problem is the car may feel sluggish after words if it chnages anything or maybe the way it is now is default from the manufacture?? But its nice to know... Thanks...
