Can you get a sport steering wheel on 4.2 with shift buttons as on S4?

I've wondered about the same question since I love the sport wheel in my A4.

I wondered the same thing about the 2.7T which I have ordered. My wife has a 1.8T with the sports wheel and doesn't use the thumb shifter, so it was a natural for the exchange.
Despite seeing a 4.2 reviewed in Audi Driver (Nov/Dec issue) with the thumb controls; I was told by Audi and my dealer this was not possible on models imported to Canada (I assume true for NA models) as the appropriate contacts are not provided. ... I find this hard to belive but this is what I have been told.
