Default Can't clear the 65535 Airbag Code?!

I'm using the shareware version of vag-com. I am able to read the airbag codes... but when I go on to click the button that says Clear Code -05, nothing happens! The fault code remains.

My understanding was that the shareware version allows for clearing of the airbag fault code?

Default I had the same problem,

even the dealer couldn't clear the code, and I had to change the control module.

Default Nope.

you didn't search, did you? Old news that code is fatal...on rare occasions it can be cleared, but it always comes back. Change the controller....lot's of posts on that too.....

Bummer. What's the number on the controller?

Default If the button isn't gray'd out (unclickable), it's not a software/shareware issue.

If you clear it, close the window, then 'check codes' again and it's back...then the controller is likely bad and needs replacing. Check out car-part.com for a used one instead of paying $600 for a new one from the stealership.

Button is clickable. I think the module is dead.
