can't leave windows cracked, alarm goes off ...
I'm not sure when this started, it may be related to VAG-COM enabling the windows/sunroof operable with remote? Any ideas other ideas why I can't leave the windows and sunroof cracked for ventilation without the motion alarm going off?
Any input most appreciated.

Push the small button at the bottom of the "B" pillar (above the trunk release) to disable the...
...motion sensor, then close and lock the door quickly. You'll see the red light next to the door lock plunger light up after you press the button; that's how you know the sensor has been deactivated.
It's kind of a pain, but that's the way it works.

Light will turn on when you press the button, yes. Indicates that the sensor is off, and...
...then you have to lock the doors before the light goes out again, or the sensor will turn back on.
Like I said, it's a pain. :-/
